Me: How did you get into art? What was it that drove you to pick it up? 

Celes: I was just going through some library books and stumbled on the art
section. I was young, but I wasnt interested in the 'how to draw
cartoons 1, 2, 3,' I was more intrigued by the upper level realism
books. I can still remember begging the librarian to let me check out
the book because it was upper level. I basically had this motivation to
draw and the first night I remember drawing seriously... I had been up
in my room trying to make the most realistic nose I could. What came out
impressed me, so I pushed myself harder.
  


Me: What’s your favorite art style?

Celes: I really like realistic manga. I love it when an
artist pushes themselves to realism then switches to cartoons, it just
makes it look good. 


  


Me: Do you take requests and commissions at the same time? 

Celes: I do, mostly from my bf, asking me to
draw him. commissions are always open and I get a good many per month.


  


Me: Most artists don’t like “adult” art. How do you feel about it? 
Celes: I don't mind either way. I would prefer not to draw it, just because other people may
take it wrong. beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so adult is
relative to the maturity and opinion of the viewer.


  


Me: Is there anyone special behind the scenes supporting your choice of
income? 

Celes: Definately Chozo. He has always been super supportive, and has
had a huge helping hand in my male drawings. I have been able to study
him closer than I have been before because we are in a relationship, and
my men are coming out looking less like women. That way, I can make
more income with better art.


  


Me: How many commissions have you done collectively? 

Celes: I started off doing them for
virtual money, for a game... and I made about 128million coins. To put
in perspecive... playing a good hour running an upper level dungeon for
that game nets you 50,000 coins. I've done over 60+ for people in that
game.


  


Me: How much have you made from these commissions? 

Celes: Ive made around 100$ with real money commissions... but if I
had gotten paid for the game coins it would become more like 250-300$


  


Me: What are your favorite things to draw? 

Celes: I love to draw romance. I'm a complete sap for it and squee at it. I mostly do fanart of my boyfriend
and I :3


  


Me: What do you find hardest about making your art? 

Celes: Getting what I haveSadly, I may not always know how to fix it
or make it look good so I'll just start over. It's a bad habit I have.


  


Me: Have you considered making doomdestoryer98 some art? 

Celes: Yes, I have. I made a
thumbnail of a 4 person piece I had from a month ago, but have gotten
busy with paid art. Paid art always comes first.


  


Me: Do you have a favorite project on PMC? 

Celes: Not really, I just like skimming and diamond things that look like they had effort.


  


Me: Have you posted any of your own projects to PMC? 

Celes: Yes, Ive posted a castle.
Sadly, I removed most of my work for two reasons: PMC doesnt allow
artwork to be posted, and my build screenshots were being used without
my permission for websites players made.


  


Me: Have you considered making an art blog on PMC?

Celes: Yes, but again, they dont allow it and I like to follow the rules.
