Everyone thinks that when they hit the Admin rank in a server, that everything after that is all sun and roses. It's not. When being a server admin you really have to pay close attention to whats going on around you, and get to know the players in the server. Especially if your playing a survival server. When playing on my survival server, i am always constantly checking peoples inventory for people who have spawned items. Even though you think, "Hey, there not staff, they cant spawn anything.", they dont have to spawn it in, because other staff members often give there "Friends" stuff in the game. In my server, i dont accept that, because i think survival is a place to mine and craft your own stuff, not get it spawned off from a staff member. If your an admin, and you see someone who just joined with 64 golden apples, i would use /invsee and take it out of there inventory, like i always do, and tell the server owner/co owner that someone has been spawning in items. Not only will this help you get liked by the owners for being trust worthy, it will also help your minecraft servers and community by not cheating out the game. This blog will be put out everyday i feel like making it, and will mostly consist on how to be a good admin, and when people are lying and telling the truth, and also how to deal with hackers/client users.
