Still doing on the big custom map D:. harder than i thought. but for a moment ill make this blog :
How to Pvp Like a Pro. :
1. Armors : As a Minecrafter to win battles you should keep in mind that you need to wear armors. A fist fight will not be fair if the one wears diamond armor and the other is naked. Enchanted armors are better and i recommended Protection V or Fire Protection II
2. Swords : Sword is another important aspect in winning a battle. punching people with
Secondary Stuffs :
1. Wolves : Or a dog (tamed wolf) Is your best friend. Bring him to adventure with you so when you encountered an enemy just SPANK THEM and make your dog attack them. you might not want to just stand there since dogs have low health. I recommend you to bring 3-5 depending on the opponents armor and stuffs. Give them meat when your done fighting to recover their health :D.
2.Flint and steels : This might not be really necessary if you have the Fire Aspect sword or the Flame bow but worth a try if your new to the server and can't find diamonds to craft enchanting tables. The flint and steel is good for person who loves to just go around and Kamikaze. I recommend you to bring water, you know , if you are an idiot and accidentaly walked into the fire that you made XD.
3. TNT : Extremely useful when used efficiently. bring a redstone torch with you to light up the TNT or just bring flint and steel. You only have a few seconds to run from the TNT.

bare hands will take you no where. there fore, you should use Diamond swords. if you
can't find diamonds, use Iron. IF you can't find Iron *cough* your a noob *cough*, Use Stone sword (your only hope is that you find a player wearing only lether boots to kill if you use the stone sword). I recommend Knockback II (to knockback players from hills so that they will fall from a PvP on a mountain.), Sharpness V and Fire Aspect II.
3. Bows : The bow is an effective range weapon you can use when retreating. The bow will be most useful on narrow places to use since your enemy will not be able to dodge any of your attacks. I recommend the HIGHEST enchantment for bow which is :
Power V, Infinity I (if you have this infinity enchantment you just need 1 arrow to keep in your inventory.) Punch II and Flame I.
4. Potions : This is the reason most people died even with more advanced armor than the others. Nothing much to explain here. I recommend you to bring :
DEFENSIVE:
-Instant healing.
-Regeneration (or the golden apple crafted using the gold blocks instead of the ones using gold nuggets)

I recommend attacking players from the back or when they are mining. Sneak attack :D
4.Fishing Rod : I know, I know. It's weird right? yeah. you might not get the message like this : ______ was slain by _____. But you will get this message : ______ hit the ground too hard. Yup you heard me right : HIT THE GROUND TOO HARD. you get the advantage when your enemy is on the ground while your on the mountain or vice versa. Just try to 'fish' them and pull it and TA-DA. your enemy got fall damage. Finish your enemy and Make them rage quit :P.

-DO NOT BE TO COCKY AND FIGHT PEOPLE WITH LOW HEALTHS. HEAL INSTANTLY OR SIMPLY RETREAT.

Scroll a little bit down the page, under the picture on how to craft a sword. There is info o how much it damages, durability etc. It hurts the same as a wood sword and breakes faster. :-)
