In this Blog, i explain to you, how to make your own Texturepack!
As first, you will need the Original terrain.png.
You can find it in ? easy Steps:
1. Click Start, then type into the Search bar "%appdata%".
2. Open the folder "roaming" -> ".minecraft" -> "bin"
3. Right-Click "minecaft.jar" and open it with 7zip
4. Locate "terrain.png" and copy it to your desktop
Or you can download terrain.png here!
Now you are ready to edit the textures of minecraft!
Open the terrain.png not with MS Paint (Standart Editor)
Use Paint.net or GIMP
Dont know how these Programms work? Watch Tutorials!
When you finish with editing your Texturepack, use 7zip
to make a .zip file out of it. If you dont know how to make
that, search it on google!
After packing it to a .zip file copy the .zip to the folder
"texturepacks", located in ".minecraft" and select you
TP in the Startmenu of Minecraft!
Remember: Everyone starts small. After some time, you
will make some awesome texturepacks. I am sure!
Maybe i will see it around planetminecraft!
To edit Monsters & Animals:
Open minecraft.jar and copy the folder "mobs" to your desktop!
To edit the GUI:
Open minecraft.jar and copy the folder "GUI" to your desktop!
