Hello everybody! Today I'm going to tell you how to make a good account name. A good account name could make you more popular and easier to remember!

What Makes a Good Account Name?

To make a good account name use the following tips:

• Do NOT add any extra numbers at the end. If you do, it seems like your name is not original. For example, if you look at the top list on PMC there are not many names that look like "MinecraftMan34956". If you take off the letters it ends up becoming shorter and more original. "MinecraftMan" looks ALOT better then "MinecraftMan34956"
  
• Make sure you capitalize the beginning of each word in the name. It just adds a better look into it. "MinecraftMan" looks better than "minecraftman".
  
• Do NOT add your name into it. C'mon, I bet you can come up with something more creative. I have seen WAY too many have names that are like "chris931664". A lot of the famous youtubers have good names. "CaptainSparklez" and "AntVenom" both use the two tips I just mentioned AND this step.
  
• Take your time on making your name. Don't feel like you only have 10 seconds to make up your name. If you have to use up the whole day GO AHEAD! Nobody is rushing you! You will probably end up with a better name if you take your time!
  
• Think of two words that you can add together to make something awesome. "CaptainSparklez" and "AntVenom" are two words that make a pretty cool name. Same could be said with mine, MonkeyDigger.
  
• Actually have a name please. I have seem some very bad names that look like "a_t18628"
  
• Don't Make your name go on forever! Short and simple is the best!
  
• Do NOT make your name in all caps! "MINECRAFTMAN" looks like you scream everytime you write something in chat!
  

Now that you know all of the steps to make a good name, lets compare a good name to a bad name. Out of "bobguy646921" and "MonkeyDigger", which looks better?

• Helps you out on many servers (maybe everyone wants to team with you on HG or join your town)
  
• Many more that I don't have time to list (lol)

• Might have already been taken
  
• Hard the think of ideas
  

Now Let me show what a bad name that I showed you would be like.

• Easy to think of

• Looks messy
  
• Looks like you are really stupid
  
• You probably won' t ever become popular
  
• Unoriginal
  
• Hard to remember
  
• Almost nobody will remember your name
  
• Complex
  
• People don't know what to call you and will spend many seconds typing your full name.
  
• Many other things that you won't want
  

Conclusion

In the end it is better to spend a few minutes on a good name and then have a great minecraft time later on rather than making a name in 5 seconds and wonder "why didn't I spend more time on my name before?" later on. I think that if people spend more time on their name, they will get more famous and have a much better minecraft playing time. This might not be everything to become famous but it sure does play a big role! Think about this next time you are making an account!
