So, when I was almost level 20, I was thinking of ways to get my last hundred XP without posting anything new. Then an idea popped into my head for the next time I am desperate for XP. This is a system that I would like to share with you.

  • Level 1-5: Ok, so when you start out on Planet Minecraft and explore your specialty on PMC. Every week, you should post something different that is easy, and fun to do. Remember to put in your best effort so you can see what you are good at and what you like, while getting the most experience points for your work. Preferably post your work Friday night, Saturday night, or Sunday night. If you cannot wait for the weekend, you should at least post at night, this is when most of the players are online and will start to look at your post. A good way to gauge a busy time is go look how many people are in chat at the time. Recently a high is around 70-80, medium is around 55-70, and when not to is 1-55. Aim high, for people just sit in chat and watch the conversation. Always before you are about to post, double check you have everything, all your snapshots, pictures, descriptions, dedications, etc. You can post and just wait or you cano ¦ ADVERTISE!! One of the best ways to advertise is this, go to chat and ask for ratings. A good way to approach someone in Chat is to say, o (Ex.) Baron_Von_Random, I just posted (Ex.) a skin, and you look experienced. Could you rate my stuff please?o If they agree, whisper the link, so you save your link broadcast to chat for every 15 minutes. OR if you want to be cautious stick it out for 20 minutes, so more people accumulate into chat to see your item(s). When you ask a person to rate your item, aim towards the lower numbers, they are more helpful, and very willing and giving to your stuff. NEVER ask a mod, they are hiher class, and do not want to be bothered with miniscule posts. Jk. They are usually helpful but they are human and do get tired of posts, so do not do it. Asking them is a waste of yours and their time. When you direct it at one person, other people o Casuallyo take interest and then you can o Casuallyo say, o If anyone else wants to rate my post, I will whisper a link.o And if no one responds say, o (Another random name) Keegwi?o And ask them if they want, and you can continue doing so, if you have the time. Follow the rules of posting and advertising, and you will be on your way to level up!

  • Level 1-Ʊ: This is a cool tip I picked up in my early days when I was level 3, 4, and 5. It does work for higher levels hence the Ʊ, I didno t find an infinity symbol. Ito s as simple as this, Subscribe! The more you subscribe, the more your name gets out there. Aim for the lower active members; mostly below ten 10. They partake in in the community, and so if you subscribe to them, they will most likely do. Like I do, but I am not like others. If you want to get very specific for your range, aim for members with little subscribers, better chance for a sub back. There is a downside for subscribing rapidly, your sub box is flooded, yet to this madness you have a variety of ideas that may come to your head for you next project, so it technically is win-win. Also on the topic of subbing people, be nice to them. If you make friends via chat, forums, or they are likely to subscribe. Like saying, o Hi,o is not being a friend, you need to partake in large conversations and ask questions about their work and yours, fin connections. I feel like Io m in Kindergarten again O_o. A good friend on PMC is very helpful. They usually look at ALL your posts, comment and diamond. They help give constructive criticism and better improve your work. The best friends on PMC that are resourceful, experienced, and willing, are level 10o s. They also have very fun personalities. Come to chat frequently to find more friends, theyo re everywhere! And try and find the perfect friend, close in level, same personality, and loyal. These are my friendly tips, take them if you want, these are all free.

  • Levels 5-10: So by level five, you should know what PMC is generally about. You should still try and make many friends, but you can mostly focus on a couple. Still sub, people sometimes gawk at how many subs some people have, it is fun and worthwhile in its own right. At level five you should get some (Not a lot.), of XP once in a while. I cannot say for sure, for I do not know how devoted you are to the community. It isno t much, but it is better than not being noticed. You should still keep up posting something every week. Not every week, you can miss some. I you post a lot of good quality you will gain XP very fast, in a short amount of time. Every level you gain, the more attention and respect you bring in.

  • Levels 11-15: When you get higher levels you should have more skilled and precious work. (I have not achieved that :P) You do not have to post so much, if you are gaining rapidly with minuscule work that you give out. By now you should have a small regular gain of XP, but I still advise to Subscribe and Friend. It always helps in the long run. By now you should be ill-tempered with some slow gaining XP, all you need to do is be patient. Patience is key in higher levels. Just be patient.

  • Levels 15-20: So posting is, and has been iffy for beginning peoples. Some posts may get large amounts of XP and others, not so great. This is where friends come in and they help get the most out of your posts, they rate and maybe if they are loyal enough, advertise for you. You may get bored with just posting so here is an idea that you see many people do, set goals. Not super big one that are impossible to man, but goals that are simple and you can achieve even more, like 50 diamonds on one project, 100 subs, 1,000 views, etc. With more levels, you get more XP every day, but try for goals; they help on the rough patches of level 16 and 17. When you reach a level, it is a wonderful experience, but the toil to get there is terrible. I hope these steps help you through all the troubles of gaining XP. (Read not at the bottom.)

  • Levels 20-25: I do not know, but when I start gaining XP, I will expand more, and I will update this blog, tell me if you would like it.

Thank you for reading!

Stay Classy,

Baron_Von_Random

P.S. Try to sub me and see what happens! *Wink*

NOTE: I had no idea how much xp you actually gained for the levels after posting, and now that I analyzed this, and at level 20 posting OK quality items you get about 100 XP per day. PER DAY! That's insane! So I assume it will be around 50 for level 15, and then so on. Do NOT get discouraged if you don't get a lot of XP, we have all been there. I ensure if you post high quality stuff every week, you will be well on your way to leveling up. Please Rate :D

Cool post. I don't really sub to people that much but I find that I can still get a fair few xp points when I update my 3 projects (for real reasons) but I still think that some these ideas will be helpful. Is there any chance you could check out my projects.
