Spammers
How to deal with them? Easy. Mute them.
But if they advertise their own server, its going to be easy.
If they say, COOL SERVER, you could reply with :
1. If your server is so cool, why do you need to advertise it?
2. My players won't leave, because they know this server is good because we don't advertise.
After that, your staff and/or players will have a little kick out of it.
What if they rejoin with other accounts?
Simple. Disable the words,
mc,com,net, etc.
If the server IP is only numbers, you won't care since no one ever knows how
to remember that much numbers.

Griefers
Easy ways to deal with them :
1. Use worldedit and check block history, and rollback if needed.
2. Use the community and eye-witnesses (not reccomended)
3. Get trusted moderators and admins. Don't give permissions to your friends.
What if they multiaccount? IP ban them. They won't stand a chance.
Protip : Get a forum as soon as possible. You'll need to get :
1. Unbanning requests
2. Reporting of said griefers

Trolls
Ah, yes, the trolls.
Being such d**ks to everyone.
Banning them, is hard. But there are some easy tricks to prevent it from happening.
1. Prevent your staff from giving people ranks. It's very hard to get trustworthy people.
2. Disable TNT and/or flint and steel if needed.
3. Do NOT give players these commands, even donors :
/mobdisguise
/god
/invs
etc. etc.
