I recently got alot of time on my hands to make another blog. 

How long will Minecraft stay popular?

Well... If i really wanted to find out I would need to go into the future; however, without some kind of artificial time device that cannot be achived!  So all I can do, i guess.  Well according to the Offical Minecraft website, 14 million people have allready bought minecraft! And an adverage of 9,000 people every 24 hours! 

Thats alot; but, this high number doesnt mean it will stay like this, but i doubt tommarow will be any differant.  Minecraft will never truely be outdated either, the first super mario bros people still play, this may be the same for Minecraft.  Not only the sales will keep Minecraft alive, but when people stop buying doesnt mean the game dies out.  People will still most likely play it.  With youtube channels like Yogscast and Team_Crafted, doesnt look like the community will die out very fast. 

So what is my estimate on how long it will last?  For me, i think that if i ever have kids, they too will have a Minecraft account, and possibly their kids.  Depending on how well its doing, that is my guess.
