Heroes vs Villains Skin Contest
After over 3 full weeks of entries being submitted (what happened there???) the judging process has finally been completed! Each entry was given a score based on "Originality & Concept" and "Technique & Execution"
And here is a review of the results!
At number three, with a score of 111, Hector- The Crazy Steam-punk Scientist by ScarletBox is awarded the Bronze Pixel Art Trophy
This is an extremely vivid skin with unbelievable 3-D features. This masterfully done steam-punk is a winner for sure!
At number two, with a score of 115, FalconMan by Anonymous-player is awarded the Silver Pixel Art Trophy
This half falcon, half human hero is a real crowd-pleaser with its flaming fists and heroic, Captain America themed look.
And at number ONE, with the winning score of 121, spacemonkiee is crowned victor of the SIXTH official contests in the history of Planet Minecraft for his hero, The Locust, and awarded the Golden Pixel Art Trophy along with a Creeper Head from Jinx.com!
Diamond and subscribe ladies and gentlemen, and delete your Zombies Fly Mods, because when you download this winged hero, fly mods become pointless. This guy is a natural-born villain cruncher.

I created the bow yo see hector holding using 3D software from scratch, angled it the right way, rendered it with a transparent background, cut it so that Hector appeared to be holding it, and blurred it to match hector's resolution. I then ran a few simple filters on it with Adobe Photoshop, and there you have it.
