Lushnabler - Caves and Cliffs Expanded! - Lushnabler 13 (1300) Minecraft Data Pack (planetminecraft.com)
Lushnabler 13 is right around the corner but first,
You need to know that, Lushnabler 13 will not be generating like the previous versions.
Lushnabler 13 will be using a system that I call 'Sytha'
What's a 'system'
A System is my stupid naming abilities calling things weird names. It's essentially a version tag
If two data packs are using 'Sytha' as a guide, updating/changing data packs will cause little chunk borders.
Rivers should still lead into rivers,
oceans into oceans and warm biomes into warm biomes and the only issue will be custom biomes having issues. And maybe a couple more if generation is tweaked.
But If, for example, A data pack, For example, Lushnabler 12, is used to generate. Lushnabler 12 uses vanilla layered. But then u switch to Lushnabler 13 which is tagged with Sytha, using multi noise,
Rivers won't lead into rivers, badlands usually won't lead into other biomes, and there will be chunk borders everywhere separating Lushnabler 13 from Lushnabler 12
