Hello Everyone! Here, I have a simple, easy, written straight out tutorial on how to earn EXP for those who wish to use it for particular purposes, or just you would wish to have more. Well, here, I explain thoroughly the best things to use, and into some information how. I listed below what gives what amount of EXP, and more helpful information. Enjoy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ever wondered how on Earth people are such high levels, or receive many experience points?

Well, I am here to fulfill those questions. Firstly stating that there are multiple ways to, but the beneficial ones are not always noticed. This topic can be for anyone, from novices to experts. It doesn't hurt to read it, backup some facts, or use these tips and tricks.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Methods - Best to Worst

1. Upload Quality Content

Every now and then, we see some copiers a midst taking other peoples work and changing a few things. We all realize this. Have some originality, or try to show people that you are different. It will give them a, “Hey! I’m not like others, find some unique things here!” notification. Try putting your greatest effort to come up with your own ideas. If you really have to, be inspired by someone’s work and change it 99%. Depending on how you do, it will increase fame, or vice 'versa'.

2. Uploading Skins

Making skins is fairly easy and quick to do. In fact, most people try making a routine to create two or more skins a day for release. This really is big factor in Minecraft. Skins are what define a person’s nature, personality and what they like. Personally, I have a Batman skin because I enjoy comics, having two characteristics of people inside of me for purposes, and basically because I love the movies. Anyway, this is a moderate way to gain popularity and levels. If you don’t have much experience in making skins, try starting from ones on websites, and modify and implement your own ideas into them. Just try not to steal it entirely and claim it as your own. There are endless possibilities in the creative imaginations that people have to make skins. Why not give it a shot?

3. Blogging

Blogs: the famous way to gain easy points, great interactions, and meeting new people with new discoveries. Always try thinking of a beneficial, very funny, curious, etc. topic that will attract people. Don’t do this for the points, but for the enjoyment and other reasons. Generally, people do this to help out, talk and explore interesting things such as, The End of the World, for example.

4. Uploading Texture Packs

Alright, so most of us are familiar with texture packs. They have so many benefits, uses and whatnot, its unbelievable. People use them to upgrade FPS, use them for showing off and cool features, or simply because they can and it is popular. Creating packs is indeed a lot of work, time consuming and sometimes stressful. That’s why, most times, there are great rewards in return. People spread it like fire, gaining you the popularity and motivation to make more! But remember to put in effort. Horrible, ugly looking ones won’t go anywhere. Even when you think it’s good and other people do too, there will be people who dislike it. Do not become discouraged because they still get average views and downloads.

5. Site & Player Contribution

Interaction with players generally provides a good reputation, seeing on how you are in social skills. Usually, a friendly diamond, favorite and sub is a nice way to tell people that you like their work and expect other great things in the future. People notice this a lot, they are curious and will probably do the same. It is not always the best way, but it shows that you are interested. Also, beware of churning (subbing, favoriting ,and "diamonding" just to get other people to sub back and then unsub them). It is a horrible thing to do and can break the rules. Also, maybe trying to gain a rank or donating, whatever is an act of good, and only good karma can come back, right? Why not try it out, but I am not saying to do it, otherwise this would be advertising.

Points - What Give EXP

By reading from a lot of places and experimenting, it seems that each of these, provides these numbers.

One View = 1 XP

It is simple as it says, a view is one point.

One Comment = 1 XP

It is simple as it says, a comment is one point.

One Diamond = 2 XP

Diamonds, provide two points, and are used on interesting, helpful and good things that the person may like. Not much too it, basic.

One Download = 2 XP

Download a skin, map, or texture? There’s two points.

One Favorite = 2 XP

It is simple as it says, a favorite is two points.

One Submission = 5 XP

Posting a submission about a server, project, etc, gives two points.

Tweeting Submissions may provide 10 points. Still undeclared.

Content - Honesty and Tips

Honesty:

Many times, we see copied work, and used as their own. We don’t want this and people are caught. Do not steal other peoples work. They worked hard and you have no right to use it as your own. Also, try not to be sneaky in advertising and spamming in places that are obvious where you should not, it’s just being polite. Show kindness and do not harass people. People that like you and see that you do the correct things from all of this will be nice in return and possibly sub, fav, etc., helping you gain points. However, do not abuse this.

Tips:

Post cool, non-repetitive work. Posting repetitive work is okay, but be reasonable about it. If you are looking for how to find a texture pack, look it up. It saves your time and others’ too. Having catchy titles also is a good factor. It catches peoples’ eyes and brings them in. Avoid posting fake content with copied work. This gets you nowhere. Try making a server, if you can, with cool features that are included. Share your activity with friends, MC friends, and more. This is a good way to gain points.

Lastly...

Do not post excessively, or abuse any of this just for XP. Consider it and use it for the enjoyment of others who will like your work back. People are allowed to use this and test it out. Over time, you will gain popularity. Being patient is the key. Make work that you like to do, and what others will like also.

Feel free to provide back positive or curious feedback.

Enjoy and Use these Tips, Facts and Tricks appropriately.

*Note that all these were thoroughly tested and tried, researched and given effort to type out on my own time, not afflicted with copying or advertising.

Its a proven fact that people are more likely to give diamonds to quality content (and therefore, gain you more experience).

Well, arguable in some cases. You can have an amazing skin, gets very popular. But in "quality" wise for it, it is probably copied, therefore ruining the whole thing. Its hard to explain, but it makes sense once you wrap your thoughts around it. But, sure, I'll change it to #1

Well, I'd have to agree and disagree with some of these points. While high level skinners make it appear easy to get popular doing this, what you don't see is that for every good skinner, there are many poor ones. I also find it fitting that you completely left projects/creative building off this list, as builds certainly are not an easy or quick way to get popular, however skilled builders can raise rank quite quickly for truly good submissions. And lastly, I'd have to agree with your comment about quality, as I have definitely seen users post many projects of debatable quality in order to gain rank.

Thank you for your inputs and outputs. I do realize that people may, if say, "major" in these types of fields. Although, these are more convenient, and simple to earn EXP. Not always do you have to follow these guidelines, but it is more efficient. And persoanlly, I left builds/projects out because I created one, and it was much better than many others except the popular ones made by higher levels. All these are great point of views, and I will possibly create an edit and add it in.

Yes, indeed these things are accurate. And it's kind of you to create this blog, for the new PMCers. Or anyone, to be honest.
