Hello everyone!
It's been quite some time since I've logged onto PMC, had this account for quite some time. I used to make skins in minecraft, but since moved on to digital art in the form of illustrations. Feels like yesterday I was on this website, cringing at how naive I was in some of my older posts due to my lack of maturity and age, but everyone started somewhere right?
I'll be updating this blog post with future paintings and my progression as a digital illustrator *wannabe*, hopefully evolving over time and growing to gain some constructive criticism and helpful tips from other artists :).
I've messed around with digital painting before, but until now I haven't committed and completed anything until now, due to lack of interest, ideas or whatnot. Usually a sketch that would die out after a few days. This first drawing is what I'm considering my very first digital painting and I'm going to log my progress in relation to it. I want to pursue this, atleast as a hobby, as art has been a hobby for nearly all my life. It will be fun to look back on my stuff and see how far I could potentially come as a digital illustrator, if I decide to dedicate to it. I hope I can improve, time and effort I guess haha.
My very first painting, I sought to improve this over and over because of issues I saw with the lighting in particular and how it laid on the hair, but I had to call it quits at some point and finish it off. I actually had about 5-6 different states of the painting that I considered finished but I kept changing details to do what I felt was improving the overall legitimacy of the painting, though not much changed as a whole. More just nitpicking at the lighting and minute details honestly.
I hope you enjoy the painting, I've grown fond of it after staring intently at it for countless hours while watching movies or browsing the web, heh. But any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated fully, anything constructive will be valued highly.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my painting and soon *gallery*? If I decide to dedicate my efforts and actually take initiative, unlike some of my past efforts with skin series and such.
Thank you!

I'M DOING THIS, PURSUING. HECK YEAH.
Here's painting #2, been in the works for around 2 weeks but I lost so much interest in it on and off trying to think of how I wanted to finish it.
This one was purely me experimenting with characters, lighting and poses, just having fun instead of a picture in a setting. A "concept" illustration, if you will.
Fun fact, posing as your reference photos while having a dino phone that crashes every 2 seconds is f u n.
For some reason, the image (particularly in the face), is quite blurry. I think this is because the image was actually a bit too high res l o l. However my psd copy of this file seems fine when I zoom in so, I D E K.
Practicing some interesting new poses, more dynamic, interesting camera angles, etc.
New painting! Been busy with school, coming to a close, exams etc. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for tuning in!

My first painting, dubbing it bloodbath for a lack of uniqueness;
