I'm attending my brother's hockey tournament and am at the hotel bored out of my mind. The internet is slow, so there goes Netflix and YouTube. My computer is too big to fit in the car with all the luggage we have to bring. So, another Planet Minecraft revival. Here's a few tips to help you come up with topics to Planet Minecraft blogs and articles. Yes, the thumbnail is kinda random.

Playing Video Games in General

Now, call me crazy. But to come up with topics for a blog about gaming, play some games. Okay, all sarcasm aside, it's a great way of coming up with topics. Simply get on Minecraft and go play some KitPvP. Go on Steam and play some Counter-Strike. Any game will do, because it will still help you come up with topics. You can talk about Minecraft, or just games in general. Even make it about Dota 2 and League of Legend's conflicts. Talk about why the two companies have a bit of a disagreement.

Make connections. If you want to come up with Minecraft topics, and not touch other games then fine. Make a connection between the two games. For example, I wanted to make a blog about good combinations and strategies that would help you play Counter-Strike: Global Offense. Come up with a quick blog about potion combinations and pvp strategies. I just came up with two topics just by typing about one. Different blogs can branch out to different topics.

Real Life Experiences and Thinking

It's the same as making connection between games. Try to connect real world situations to the gaming world. Here's another free topic to anyone that wants to use it. Make a blog about how video games can teach real world values. Minecraft has creativity values. Think of an event that happened in your past and connect it to an event that happened to you in a video game. Even sit there at your computer and think of a topic. Think to yourself what would make a good topic that would capture the attention of people who read it. Ask yourself if it would be something you would want to read if you were the audience.

There are some ways of thinking of an original topic for your Planet Minecraft blog. I hope this helps. If you can't think of an original one, get inspired by other people's blogs, tutorials, and articles. Think a different opinion about a subject someone talked about? Blog about it! Disagree or agree about the new Minecraft EULA? Talk about it. Thinking up a new blog that isn't stolen or plagurized is as simple as that.

Inspiration From Other Blogs

This is the method I like to use most. Go into the projects section, the blog section, anywhere. Gain inspiration from other people's work. It's what I like to do most. One of my most popular blogs is derived from two other blogs talking about how Planet Minecraft's content quality is declining, and another about the grammar and spelling of gamers today. They both raised valid points and voila, a blog worth for the pop reel. It's not stealing, it's using a source. It's also good to credit your sources. I didn't do that originally but it's something I'll do from now on.
