PMC, you have an issue. A very large, obvious, disgusting issue.
Now, I dislike discrediting and insulting the skins of other people. It seriously pains me to do so.
But It's impossible for me to ignore. To ignore the fact that every skin of the highlight reel looks exactly the same. I won't give any direct examples, because you can see it for yourself just by looking for two seconds.
I realize that people probably want more modern, urban themed skins, but can't you at least be creative about it? I mean, when I look all I see is anime girls. Anime girls everwhere. Chibi eyes and low down mouths, with large bangs and lazy shading.
It's probably the new meta or something, I dunno. I'm an old hat. A small potato in a very large potato content-world.
But haven't any of you realized this? Creativity is supposed to thrive here, it's supposed to show skill, patience, effort and impressiveness. Instead I get a blonde girl with a creeper hoodie. Or a teenage guy with headphones.
It baffles me on a very profound level. I look back at the old skins, where you could actually make out what the skin is without looking at the description or the title.
Now I have to spend 3-4 minutes staring at it until I see what the vision was.
This is probably very insensitive, but the fact that PMC has degraded this much since I joined gives me a headache.
