Hello everyone! 0Smorez0 here of the BUMBLE WEEW PARTY WEEW PARTY... Doing another blog for y'all to read.
THIS IS AN OPINION SORT OF RANT, NOT MEANT TO OFFEND ANYONE. IT IS ALSO NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SOMETHING EVERYONE AGREES TO. :)
I am not always a picky person, but I have a peeve against over used build themes and ideas.
I have seen so many cathedrals, castles, skyblock, etc maps, that it inspired me to write this ranting blog.
Minecraft is a survival/sandbox game that many people enjoy. You are given a huge variety of blocks to build, and an imagination to use with these blocks.
Y U NO USE IT ALL THE TIME?
Yes... Huge cathedrals and castles and palaces are cool. Especially if they inspire you in a way. But isn't it time for a change?
So many things still to be built. Why keep building what we know all too well? Explore like Europe! Discover like Discovery channel!
Build something unique and new. (Props to everyone who is building unique things)
Lets discuss why I am getting tired of these over used ideas and themes from certain people (NOT ALL!)!
1.Lets face it people... Minecraft is being taken over by a new generation of people (Which is not a bad thing!). This may sound LAME and CORNY... But these people are the future of this game, and even the world. If you show them how to be unique, they will make this game better. If you show them how to build the same things over... and over... and over... and over... and over... (Doesn't it get boring reading that?), won't they mostly do the same, and the game will barely change?
2. Imagination. A very simple, but big word. It seems not many people are using this part of their personality... And yes I know some people are inspired to make something that has been made many times before, but that doesn't mean it needs to go onto PMC all the time. :/ I mean, its an accomplishment that you finished a cool project that your proud of and want to share, but at least TRY and make it have a unique feeling to it.
3. The future of this game is in our hands. Mojang usually adds what we want to satisfy our hopes for the game. If we keep going down the same path of using the same blocks, and the same ideas, and same themes, won't Mojang just add things thatcorrespondto those themes? Or maybe they will stop adding things... THAT WOULD BE AWFUL!
4. Think about your community, and people like me who have a peeve against this sort of thing. Do you think it makes us happy seeing these ideas being milked dry until every type of Skyblock possible is made? Well if you said yes...
I don't think you get the rant...
So anyway, your community is the people who support you, and drive you forward. Don't make them angry, bored, or annoyed with your posts.
But anyway, I have to go feed farm animals... its my job. (BEST JOB EVA).

I understand that some themes are being over used but until someone events a new theme like "Dagerthoth" (just made up) we won't have any more unique style builds.

now, on another note, i think this article is a bit hypocritical, considering that a person who is ranting about being innovative has no builds to call their own. i do not know you, and i do not know what you do with your time in minecraft, but i think it would be best if you contributed to the community with what you have, instead of ranting about it.
