A New Start

Poof.
Here I go again. I thought as my body laid carefully in the warm grass. The sun was shining on my face and the nearby cows mooed with glee. I closed my eyes and opened to a fresh breath of air. I knew the routine. I been in this exact spot 15 or so times. I knew my purpose was to start over again. I called it the do over of a fresh start.

I sat up and watched as the trees blew in the wind, the flowers curling and loving the waves of the cool breeze. I sighed and got up dusting my self off. The sun was bright which gave me time to get settled with supplies before the night. Hunched over, I went to a nearby tree and started chopping at it. Like I always do, over and over and over again.

How depressed I am. Why does this have to happen to me. I always find a way back to this very spot, even when I don't give up. I am doomed to be here. So I might as well settle here. I kept popping negative thoughts in my head, as I chopped down the oak wood.

After 2 hours of getting enough wood for a settlement I decided to make a crafting table. I wad moving slow and my body just wanted to give up again. But if I did that I would just pop back here. Like I always do. Making the crafting table did not take long, I knew the recipe by heart. Now it was just up for me to get a structure up before dark. Which seemed to come closer than I thought.

Time was ticking, I only had 3 walls up and the fourth was going taking to long. My home is gonna be the death of me if I don't get this up before-... I paused. The sun went down and the moon popped up. I heard the cracking up bones in the woods behind me. I quickly focused back on building the last wall.

Hurry. Hurry. The cracking came closer and I started crying. Hurry, STUPID. At last the wall was up. I thought I was safe, but then I realized I was on the outside of the house and not the inside. I FORGOT DOORS. I hurried to my crafting table but stumbled to the ground. The SSss.. was being added to the harmony of the creatures of the night.

I grabbed onto my crafting table and quickly built doors. Running back to my house, I saw one of them. Standing there. Soulless eyes, beaming down at me. I cringed at the sight, and my heart was jumping furiously. Why me. The beast was green and it's black eyes stared down into my soul. The horrific sound it made, blew my eardrums with a ring. A painful ring. I was doomed. Again.

I cried a little, as he started to frizzle up. I knew he was going to end me, like before. Many times before. I closed my eyes for the last time, knowing I would open them up again. I prepared my self for the blow, thinking it will end soon. But it never did. There was no blow, I did not die in pieces. But I was left there.

I opened one eye and the creature was gone. I was left alone, in the silence. I was not dead. I was defiantly alive. What happened. I thought as I stood in the night sky and the silence of nothing, giving me chills. I sighed and was about to put down the doors when a twig cracked in the woods. I spun it around. Nothing was there. Well I am mean something was there. But then again it was nothing. All I saw was the glow of white eyes.
