How do I make the models replace a different item?
If you're looking to have the models replace different textures in Minecraft, open the Resource Pack folder, select "Vanya's White Violin," "assets," "minecraft," "models," "item," and change the name of the file to match the id of the item of your choice! Changing the name of the model in-game will require you find the ID in the "lang" folder and re-type it. Let me know if you have any questions!

And hey! No problem. You can actually change it to replace the wooden textures if'n you want. There's a little drop-down just above that should help you get what you want.
Just follow the steps and replace the items named "diamond-sword" with "wooden-sword" and "diamond-pickaxe" with "wooden-pickaxe," and it should work just fine.
