Out of frustration using the Lentebrisje Repository and finding his trees were too large or too small for the scale of my worlds I decided that I would create a set of my own custom trees that were more reasonably sized.  The tallest of whch is 12 blocks when fully rooted.  I have included in this package all 24 of the schematics of the trees, a repository list, as well as a set of 8 WorldPainter layers that I have created with them.  These trees look nice in default but most other resource packs greatly enhance the qualities of the trees.  I would suggest the resource pack I use which is a custom patched fork of LB Photo Realism (Here).  I plan to add even more trees to fill out the repository.  If you have any suggestions I would love to see them in the comments.
