An echo spider is a rare spider with blue eyes and has a massive detection range. Echo sacs would be a new item found in Ancient City chests. If you break an echo sac, it will spawn an echo spider. Echo spiders do not attack at night like a typical spider. They do not die in water, it is small like a cave-spider, they are completely silent, and they are fire immune. It can walk on water, but only when it is actively chasing the player. Giving an echo spider eight echo shards causes a hard protective armor to form around its body, which allows it to slowly regenerate health. The protective armor will regrow similar to how a sheep can regrow wool, but it can only regenerate health when it has a protective armor. You can shear its protective armor to get an echo shell. Echo shells can be added to a potion of leaping to allow players to jump up to ten blocks, which could be used as an effective elytra launcher. Crafting three echo shells with a water bottle will create echo drops, which cure blindness. You can attach an echo spider to a lead, so you can bring your little pet spider with you.


Vibration-detection Echo spiders are friendly unless attacked. However, if a player or mob is trapped in a cobweb, the echo spider will attack it. This could make shooting cobwebs from a crossbow even more useful.


Ballooning This spider is capable of ‘ballooning’ with their webs, allowing them to fly.
