Here is an attempt to recreate one of Hieronymus Bosch' many bizarre creatures. Despite how popular this "bird" is, it doesn't make an appearance in Bosch' most famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights. Instead, this tin funnel-wearing, envelope-delivering, ice skating bird-thing appears in the bottom right corner for the left panel of the (equally hellish) triptych The Temptation of St. Anthony.
I tried to make this look accurate, but it's hard when there are no mobs with narrow beaks.
And yes, I have yet another idea for a Hieronymus Bosch-inspired creation. And yes, it does come from The Garden of Earthly Delights. More on that later.
