Loosing already gained exp doesn't make any sense to me when deleting a post.

vikki7783... the user could just post and delete spam over and over again to farm EXP.

This. Also, exp being bound to submissions allows us to delete submissions from an account if rule-breaking occurs and revoke the exp that submission earned at the same time. If someone is breaking the rules, it doesn't make sense to let them keep their exp. I'd imagine this was why it was made the way it is, but it also makes sense to me to remove exp when a user deletes their own content. If you don't want to share your submissions with the community anymore, why would you keep exp, something that signifies your contributions to the community?

Yeah ok thanks

Why would I repost something I deleted? I deleted my post for a reason.

I get it now, It was a question at first, and I got an answer. Now I'm banned temporarily for 12 hours, no PM about the reasoning.

You posted a project with no download, no images, and no description about what your project was, so it was deleted because it was spam and you were banned because you posted spam. Furthermore, we don't PM everyone with the reason why you're banned. If you want to ask that question, you need to send a PM to a staff member. Do not post public complaints about moderation decisions, please.

As the first comment remarked, I am not entirely sure what you are trying to get at with posting this... It also seems as though you are simply attempting to "farm" more posts under your name for forums with this.

I used to have a bunch of exp for a bunch of lame blogs and posts, when I took them down. POOF. Bye bye exp.

You do loose all the EXP from a post if you remove it. If it did not, there could be level 50s with no uploads. People would be able to farm experience. If you had something that you got EXP off of, why would you want to remove it in the first place?

When you post a submission, things like diamonds, comments and just posting it gives you EXP. If you delete something it only makes sense that all EXP gained from that is removed, too, because like what btpound said, the user could just post and delete spam over and over again to farm EXP.

If they didn't do that then people could get tons of XP by uploading and deleting the same thing over and over again.
