The extreme lack of apocalypse mods
In the past recent days, I have found that there is a MASSIVE lack of "apocalypse" mods.
Why is this? Why is there such a huge lack of apocalyptic mods? I found only a few that fall into this category:
Scape and Run: Parasites
The Horde
Zombiecraft
Lost Cities
..And that's about it. That's every apocalyptic mod I found after about 20 minutes of searching.

tbf minecraft having zombies and skeletons at night is a mini apocolyspe
Fungal Infection: Spore, Sculk Horde, From Another World, Flesh That Hates, MutationCraft (this one is sh*t though,) Weapons of the Apocalypse, Naturally Spawning Indev Giant, Naturally Spawning Zombie Horse, K_Turrets, Marbled's Arsenal, etc. There is also a decent amount of resourcepacks that help create the feeling of apocoylpse such as Tissou's Zombie Pack + Tissou's Mutant Zombie Pack, Stylish Zombies, etc. Did you only search on outdated versions such as 1.12.2?
I'm making an apocalypse mod on mcreator actually

Idk exactly, maybe during this summer, or next year. It's because i don't have a lot of free time and i have another projects at the same time.
I know some other mods that are apocalyptic:
- Zombie extreme (a complete ZA mod)
- tough as nails (for harder survival)
- zombie awareness (better zombies)
- bad mobs (for making only zombies spawn)
- mobsunscreen (zombies and skeletons doesn't burns in sunlight(
Together these mods are good for Z apocalypse
