I want to upgrade my current graphics card, the Nvidia Geforce GTX 660, to a Geforce GTX 970 or 980, but i want to know if the new graphics card will be bottlenecked by my CPU: AMD FX-8320 eight core.
Will it be fine, or would i have to upgrade my CPU as well?

In some games the CPU will bottleneck. Is it overclocked? If so you should be fine though I would wait until Broadwell if you want to upgrade the CPU.
