Although, in early 2020, I was surrounded by people who didn't know PMC existed. If I had got caught by someone, I would've said that it was in fact my own skin. Haaaaa, lets uhm...lets move on now shall we-

Chapter 1: a username

I had the epic name of

ikr, it suits the website a lot.

hey at least I didn't keyboard slam like I did in 2017 when no Roblox names were left. (cough 9zuh cough)

But no hate! Everyone's first username was a little...odd. But at least mine wasn't something like "PoopLordCuteUnicorn200"

So, this was the time where I actually got into the wondrous world of shading. Haha. It sucks- uhm.

Again...some point I changed it to youmadelemonade. I was your favorite impersonator of the duck who ran the lemonade stand.

This account was the experimental account where I developed my whole entire shading journey.

Yet I deleted it again.

Acc 3: Imadelemonade/eshii
Okay so I had a TON of alts. Like 20 of them. And I named one of em "Imadelemonade" bc my main was youmadelemonade.

You see what I did there. I was so very clever.

That acc was for bases and bases only. Which basically translated to: skins that I was too lazy to finish because how tf does pallettes work.

But then my main got deleted and I was forced to the alt account. Farewell to my legacy of half a year.

I hated the name Imadelemonade tbh. It was just ugly bro. But as I said before, at least I wasn't stuck with gemmycarrots2023

I KNEW I WANTED TO CHANGE THE NAME TO ESHII BUT I HAD TO WAIT LIKE THREE MONTHS. SRUPID SKINDEX

Chapter 2: the eras of styles
Oh god I could go on and on about this tbh.

Bro I had no idea WHATSOEVER how to stick with a style or how to make something original.

That was my main goal...originality.

When I had no idea how to shade.

I was still using the skindex light and darken tool (cry)

Like "Wow 50 year old men on the internet! I just learned about shading a ducking week ago (the typo was funny so Ima leave it) I WANNA BE DIFFERENT AND QUIRKY."

Chapter 3 of something I don't know anymore: motivation


Motivation used to come really easy to me, I could finish a skin a day and it was all good.

But then I hit my peak, I had no idea how to improve further. I knew everything. Sure there was probably more to learn, but I felt as if I wasn't the one who had potential to grow into a great skinner. I didn't know how to grow any further.

And that was really the only thing keeping me skinning, growing better.

So burn out
My hobby became bland, I was loosing interest. Skin making wasn't my therapy anymore. It was a weight. Carrying me down further and further.

Until I stopped
For a good 4 months

It felt empty but freeing
