Immediately after visiting the End from the last blog, I was bombed with messages (on both Discord and Planet Minecraft) asking what I'd do next in my world. The answer to all those questions will be explored here, and now in this new blog about my survival world!

I first claimed i wanted to visit the Ancient City that was found while attempting to find the Stronghold. It would, I knew, be a hard to visit structure, but still I persisted. I first however chose to go Endbusting. I traveled to the End once again, and died as soon as i found a City. this was most unfortunate for me, but I had thought ahead, knowing this was likely. So, I did the sensible thing and used iron armour, not my precious diamond. I then decided to skip the raiding of the End, and visit the wretched Deep Dark City!! The path there was rather easy-though i did stumble through the caves roof, activating a Shrieker... i managed to use some wool, to parkour through the place. sadly I am rather awful at such and summoned the Warden!

I used the "Gravel Elevator" trick (with wool) to escape up out of the cave. I then stayed up there until my subtitles claimed the Warden had dug itself back into a hole. I then found my way back into the city, and I explored. the place was dark and my brightness was on 100. I managed to find the citadel and explore that, but it was rather boresome. I instead went to the outskirts of the city. This proved to be dangerous as I heard 2 more Shriekers soon after i left the middle. i then tried disarming more Sensors but heard the final shriek. The Warden was summons again, but i began shooting arrows. after my darkness stopped pulsating I noticed i had been shooting the wool that spawns in the ruins. I began shooting in another direction, but i shot the Warden accidentally. The Warden screamed, and I stood my ground. At this point I knew resistance was futile, so I stayed. The Warden punched me and i died immediately. Mind you i was wearing older armour i found in my chests, nothing good. This is because i knew that if i summoned the creature i would die. Regardless of my armour. I wore a mix of chain, leather and gold. Image

What occurred next is a rather boring story. I started theorizing possible ways to get more emeralds... and decided that i would steal all the books from the libraries in the Stronghold. I ventured to the place and started stealing the artifacts!! I stole 5 stacks and then went to my home again. This was quite a valuable amount as I found Librarian Villagers willing to trade me 1 emerald for 4 books. I also found that he'd trade me 1 emeralds for 3 if i traded enough. Sadly it wasn't very fast. I traded all I could, but found that the single Villager wasn't trading fast enough. I took a second Librarian and resorted to making him be my slave. first though, I'd have to reset his trades 'till i got what i wanted. This was Mending, though I considered settling for Efficiency V when it was offered to me. I finally got Mending, and put it on ALL my armour! I also stole more books (the last of them) soon after, to ensure my emeralds would stay in supply. I managed to start getting over a stack per day, but I knew in the back of my blocky head it was unreliable. I would sooner or later run out of books, and would resort to my old ways of farming pumpkins. I choose to begin working on a design for a cactus farm in my Redstone testing world, and I used the design that's pretty standard (note that cacti would be useful for trading with shepherds, as they like green dye). Utilizing walls, floating sand, and water streams. I hadn't built it in Survival yet, but the test worked fine. I shall try to make the farm next blog... until then stay strong!
