If you have ever had something you made that was griefed on a server, please give this a look. So, lets say that you just finished your house and left the server for a bit to have dinner. You come back, then you find your newly finished house has been sacked and ruined. I understand that it is frustrating when someone thinks it is cool to destroy something you've made, but that's the risk of playing online. If you're going to play on a server, just don't have the expectation that everything will be 100% untouched by other users.

Here's what to do when you have been griefed: keep your cool, relax. The worst thing you can do when someone does something mean to you is to become very angry or "rage". Now, I know your parents or friends have old you this but I'll say it again, it's just a game. Games are meant for people who play them to be able to escape from whatever may be troubling them in the real world to be able to goof off in an environment with less restrictions. So when someone griefs something you made, it sucks, but move on because dwelling in the past isn't worth the time. The thing to remember in this kind of situation is to stay relaxed and positive. You'll be able to recover.



If you are ever encased in a situation where someone may be harassing or making bad remarks about you online or on this site, ignore it. It sounds crazy just to leave something like that without a fight, but a time like this isn't worth your effort to "get even" so to speak. Besides, you could be doing so many other things than worrying what other people think about you. Whenever you walk away from something as uncomfortable as this, drop it and move on. If someone else try's to keep continuing something that should have been stopped, don't add to it. Be the better person, stop and think, walk away, then throw away whatever happened in the past so you can look forwards to the future.

This may sound funny, but the best way I've found out how to deal with people that intentionally try to hurt you is to just smile back at them, in other words kill them with kindness. Just smile and wave, laugh it off because by doing this you will throw them off guard. Treating bullies with kindness is effective because its the exact opposite reaction they want to get when they attempt to degrade you. Silly, yet effective.



When you do something with your friends, either on PMC or minecraft, stay optimistic. What I mean by this is to be the person who is able to think positively about things so everyone may keep a higher moral about what may be going on. If you are able to look at the brighter side of things, people will enjoy your company because you are able to make and keep an overall pleasant attitude.

When I advise you to be optimistic about things, I don't intend for you to be overly optimistic about things. What I mean is to take to things lightly so you can be able to continue your day with few things to worry about. Be a good friend who is happy and warm to others and is fun to talk to. If you are able to be optimistic about things, you will be more rock solid whenever a difficult situation presents itself. If something big comes up when your doing something with other people maybe on PMC or multiplayer, put it aside till a better time later so you can enjoy the time you spend with those people.
