First things first, this is my shading style. No one has my permission to copy it. The purpose of this tutorial is to show you the general concept of hair shading, not to copy mine. I hope you understand :D!

Hi, this really helped me but I have a question:
When you said to not copy your style, do you mean each hair strand exactly how it is in the tutorial, or how you taught us?

mehhhh...how are people supposed to learn how to do it if you wont let them use ur technique...?
Isnt that wat hair shading tutorials are all about? Like you should let people try the shading, or else this is useless.

they're allowed to use my technique, the only thing I'm saying not to do is to copy my style pixel by pixel, develop your own ideas based on yourself. trust me you're not going anywhere until you become the one who inspires others and not the one being inspired by others. AGAIN: i am not prohibiting anyone to use this technique, techniques are flexible and can be developed to be better and more interesting than this half-assed tutorial i made 10 months ago. Simply put, this whole post is really just a reference for others to use to find their own style.
