I continued, “The monsters were trying to defend the fortress on Nako’s commands so he could control the S-types.” “The space pirates are working with him.”
There was a terrible moment of horror when this happened. Then, I read something that scared the crumbs out of me.
“L-types were released into the Darksnow wastelands because of imperfection.” “The S-types are more perfect and are more vicious, just like we hoped.” “However, they are still not what we wanted, because they’re hard to control and their genes are heavily mutated” “The first U-type is being tested for total perfection.”
We walked on into a research lab, a big one. Just then, an alarm rang out. Bloodthirsters jumped in, lasers firing at us. We dodged, and we charged. The charged in, the spears built on their arms skewering us. I dodged one when a Bloodthirster tried to pierce me, and I slashed him across the face. He fell to the floor. Katress, though, knew how to fight them. She flew over a spear, and stabbed one threw the head, then slit another one’s throat. We all gasped in awe.
“What are you looking at,” She said. She then charged at another one, but it said something in a crusty voice.
“Do you want a fish,” it said, holding one out. She suddenly went after it, ignoring the creature. The creature smiled, and a spear popped out of the side of its hand guard. I didn’t know what happened, but a sword, a crazy one, flew through the air, and pierced the creature through the heart. It gasped, looked ahead, and fell, dead. I looked behind and was surprised to see Ares. He was dressed in crazy armor, and the sword flew back into his hand. The purple armor covered his face, and it was breathtaking. He smiled.
“Couldn’t take on that bloodthirster, could you,” He said. He looked at Kat, who was eating the fish. “What is she doing with you?”
“Sorry about that,” Kat said. “Fish are kinda my

We advanced further and saw a couple around an enclosure with a little creature that looked like a block. It had about 20 teeth on its head, and was purple. It broke out of stasis and lodged its head on the nearest bloodthirster, then ate straight through his chest. It went to the next one, but an arrow pierced it, and it fell. One of our soldiers had shot it. The bloodthirster looked over, but Ares slashed its chest open, and it fell.
“Wow,’’ I said. “Those little things can take down a bloodthirster!?” “Quite impressive… And dangerous.”
“We have to be careful now, considering those things can kill those creatures easily,” Said Kat.
We advanced onwards. Then, we heard a roar coming from one of the cages; a S-type broke the outer cage to pieces! We stood, alarmed, and immediately started attacking it. Its body was so hard, almost nothing we did hurt it. It slammed its fists into the floor, and several knights fell, set aflame like living torches. I gritted my teeth, and charged. The glow sword glowed brightly, and I swung my sword fast, and the horribly mutated beast fell.
“Woah,” was what one of the knights said.
We pushed on further, cutting through bloodthirsters, until we went into the Headquarters. Inside was a beast that looked similar to an S-type, but was bigger and stronger. A U-type. It had a name on the side. It was A.L.E.N (Abnormally Lineint Eternal Night). Its eyes flashed open, and it walked over to us. It laughed in a deep, booming voice.
“Welcome to the headquarters, runts.” “Do not resist the might of the blood thirsters.”
I growled and drew my sword. Suddenly, the cannons on its arm locked on us and fired. I remembered screaming. Knights being blasted into the air all around me. Kat yelling something that I didn’t remember. Ares deflecting blasts with his sword. The creature swung its fists, and knights fell left and right. Then, the beast towered over me. It grinned and threw a punch at me. Everything then went black.
