Add high resolution skin editing to the PMC skin 3D editor?
Hello there PMC, I would like to ask if it is possible for pmc skin 3D to add a feature where you may edit a higher resolution skin. As far as I am aware this would make it the first skin creator capable of such a thing. And I do enjoy making those skins for mod stuff, or resource packs. Now, I don't just mean for there to be a option to increase the resolution as you create the skin, but also upload a already high res skin to the editor.
set status to Closed, set resolution to Finished. I'm marking this as finished because it is implemented, however it is not live yet. It should be live in a few weeks.
PMCSkin3D will support any resolution of skin. We also plan to roll out the ability to upload 2x resolution skins (128x128), but that won't be here for a little bit.
I've been putting off learning to make HD skins for a while because the only editor that supports them, MCSkin3D, has a serious bug when attempting to edit high resolution skins. I would really like this feature to be added.
Well if it gets added then I may stop using MCskin3D because the pmc editor will have everything the other has. Just so long as you can upload a high rez skin for it to edit though, as well as create one.
