bookcases have multiple different textures of different combinations of books.
hopefully this should break up the repetition from lots of bookcases in builds such as libraries.

it doesn't have any connected texture functionality, so the sides will always be there if that's what 's you asking.

it does require optifine, if you are using that then it should work. it might inform you it was designed for a previous version when you initially activate it but clicking ok should still make it work.

history

i'm aware it can be done without optifine and some of my other varied textures do that but i implemented this pack through optifine cause it was easier to do for this many different textures.

optifine lags me. so I never use it even if i wanted to. wouldn't want to play with chunk visibility at 2...

i've never heard of optifine making the game slower b4, did you try adjusting the different settings to work best for your set up? i am planning to do this as a vanilla pack now a lot of people are using sodium instead of optifine for fps boost but i haven't had the time just yet.
