Simple 3D Ores works on top of any other pack and with any version (Version Test Pending). It adds the corresponding ore's block on the side. The ores are easier to spot, and it includes deepslate variants. This pack is optimized, so it is the least laggy way I know of doing this in the smallest size. You don't need any mods for this to work.
