some suggestions, have you thought about making the cables glow in the dark using emissive properties? Also, I think the Redstone dust entity texture could use a new texture to match the cables--maybe the cable texture or the 4-way cable?

Does it change the redstone dust item? Or any other redstone components? (I'd like to see a full pack of modern redstone :) )
