Description:
Basicly I changed the whole piston texture and added the bedrock piston piece, wood supports and some wheel/gear and tried to make it more machinery-looking. while on sticky piston, I have used the honey texture to replace slime texture, also added spilt honey texture on the piston side to make it more visible to identify.
Programme:
I used blockbench to made this model.
Notes:
There still some texture bug such as when you break/ sprint on the piston, the particle effect of the piston head will appear as unknown texture. However, I don't know fix that and I think is not actually bothering too much so I just leaft it there. Another texture bug is the split honey texture on the side, when the sticky piston are not powered, the regular piston side texture will appear instead of the spilt honey texture. If anyone know how to fix these problems please comment below, thank you.

DOWNLOAD & INSTALL
1.Click the download button(blue button below)
2.Drag the zip file into <AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks>
3.Run the minecraft launcher
(In-game operations)
4.Click the resource pack you just download (from "available"to "selected")
5.Move your resource pack to the top of the "available"list
6.Click the "Done" buttons and click <Back to Game> to run your resource pack.

"particle": "blocks/[insert block texture]"
this gives the particles of the block breaking rather then broken textures, hope this helps
You can fix the purple/missing texture particles by right clicking a texture in blockbench and selecting "Use for Particles"!
also, to fix the honey texture: in blockbench create a 16x16x16 cube, make it look like a retracted piston, on its side facing NORTH, (so it would hypothetically push north), then save it in the same location as the other models in the pack with the name "sticky_piston.json"
minecraft by default uses the same model for retracted normal & sticky pistons, so sticky_piston.json usually just points to "template_piston.json" but you can just use a custom model for sticky_piston.json (if u need any help just send me a private message!)
