Makes changes to vanilla GUIs to match Essential's dark theme, and adds an optional light theme to the Essential GUI. This pack was made for 1.19.4 but also works in versions 1.18 and 1.17. These versions are not recommended uses for this pack.

Supports Forge and Fabric mods: Capes, Catalogue, Configured, Language Reloaded, Mod Menu, and No Chat Reports. (Other mods may naturally work as well)

If you don't have the Essential mod, you can download it here for both Forge and Fabric https://essential.gg/en/

I made this pack to mainly modify options menus. I could recommend Vanilla Tweak's dark UI as an alternative https://vanillatweaks.net/picker/resource-packs/

Hey, I advise changing the Hotbar to be a bit more clean. I think the selection piece should be "Essential" blue, found in the multiplayer buttons and such. Here's a prototype scaled up.

Hey. It's me, the same person who had issues with the main menu icons with pack v6b. v9, for whatever reason, doesn't exhibit the same behavior - as in, the icons load fine. So now my only issue is the extremely minor issue of the icons in the options menus all highlight when you hover over a single specific button as opposed to highlighting individually when you hover over the menu button the icon is actually placed on. And I say "extremely minor" because without a mod that makes the highlighted button's text a different color from the non-highlighted buttons' text (I use a setting in Nostalgic Tweaks that reverts button highlights to the old behavior), you wouldn't notice whatsoever.

All the icons are added using a lang file and Mojang made their texts very inconsistent. Some buttons use the same title as their option screen and some do not. Buttons with "on" and "off" are also very difficult to work with. The reason why only one button is used for a variety of icons is to avoid icons showing where they're not supposed to so they're essentially used as anchor points. Hope this explains what's happening well but that's the reason why your issue is happening and I cannot do much about it since that's really the only way I could have done this.
