Stuck in this room again, the monotonous ticking of the mounted clock was getting to me. The world seemed to go by slowly, as if the clock was mocking me, making my torture everlasting. I barely noticed the doctors doomed expression, staring down at me as he spoke to my parents; forlornly repeating words he said all too often. I barely remember my mother dropping to the floor crying, dad finally sitting down and staring at his knees.

But that was long ago.

The clock had long died; its batteries mysteriously went missing in the middle of the night and did so again whenever they were replaced. I suppose the nurses just accepted the curse of the Wall Clock. Days went by slowly, averagely. Nothing changed, except my strength. I could barely sit up these days, yet every day I managed to find the long lost strength to sit up and look out the hospital window. Metal and neon lights shone brightly in the night, the luminiscent signs flickering every so often in a frustrating pattern. But I had remembered its pattern; it had entertained me for several days.

The window washer was coming tomorrow. My only friend. It doned a cute gettup, sort of like superman. While it was only a bot, it would wave to me every time it flew past. The weekly hello, the only visitor I got for months.

Some days I wish the cancer would just finish me off.

Hallo guys! This is my (super late) entry for the contest, I hope you like it!
I took the inspiration from  the brave people who wash windows of skyscrapers. My favorite are the people who dress up as superheroes when they're doing the windows of the Childrens Hospital. so yeh, that's my inspiration.



I did this in.... 5 hours? Forgive me if I've missed a bit. Been hard to find motivation to make skins recently :P
