This is my entry for the Land of Insects contest
I created a firefly for this contest because they're always so fun to see out in the wild (they're also one of the less creepy insects in my opinion haha). I love the sort of mystical feeling they give off and love seeing animations and art that they're included in, they create a really great atmosphere.
I wanted to play around with colors and light sources with this skin. (better viewed with a dark background)
The lines on top of the abdomen are it's bottom 4 legs and the arms are the top two legs.
