Found on the Beardmore Glacier in Antarctica, the fossil remains of a wing from a beetle that lived there 20 million years ago, the species of which the wing belongs to is known as the Ball's Antarctic Tundra beetle or scientifically as Antarctotrechus balli.
It was named after dr George E. Ball, an expert in ground beetles.
