Dravius Olimbius. Creature. Height: 6.4. Weight: Unknown. Habitat: Ravines.

The Dravius Olimbius are creatures that live underground, about 20-30 blocks deep, and are mostly found in taiga biomes, They use their flame tinted eyes to draw their prey to them and tears them apart with their bare, powerful hands. One story came from aLpFrIeNd and two of his buddies: SpeedBob123 and FancyGhosty. As they were traveling in a cave they weren't aware that they had traveled at least 125 blocks from where they decended, and had gone into a taiga biome, while underground. As they were down there, sorting through their finds in the mineral hunt, almost losing SpeedBob in the lava, they noticed something coming out of the abandoned mineshaft in the distance. At first, they thought it was merely a spider, but as it approached them, they realized it wasn't, but it was too late, it had already grabbed aLpFrIeNd and had attempted to feast on him when SpeedBob, and FancyGhosty rescued him in the nick of time. As they were fighting, Ghosty got a swift punch to the face, which had broken mostof the bones in his head, and had completely disfigured his face. (Which is one of the many reasons he wears the mask to this day) When Ghosty was attempting to regain consciousness, aLp and Speed were fighting off the monster.

After two hours of fighting with the cruel beast, they just barely made it out when they had pushed Dravius into the lava...but it doesn't end here, as they were escaping over the dinky wood and cobble bridge that aLp had made to cross over the ravine, aLp fell through and broke his ankle...but when SpeedBob realized he would have to leave he yelled: "I shall return for you!" and left with a unconscious Ghosty on his back. 

After about 15 minutes, aLpFrIeNd made himself some iron crutches and hobbled to find somewhere to take cover, as he was out in the open. When he slowly dug a small cave into the wall of the ravine, he quietly sat down and cooked some porkchops, hoping that his trustworthy friends would return to him...

During the night, aLp awoke at the sound of crumbling stone...as he quickly, and swiftly grabbed his iron sword, he stood up with sword and crutch in hand, he peeked out to see the deadly orange eyes in the distance. He quickly backed up against the wall. Breathing heavily, he took out the camcorder he had brought with him to record their finds and made a short vlog about how much he loved his friends and family, and how he would miss them so. But as he went to say goodbye, he heard a pair of hands grab his back and he was stabbed by Dravius, with his own sword.

A few days later, SpeedBob and Ghosty quickly reassembled to get who they had left and promised to go get. aLpFrIeNd. Little did they know that the creature was just waiting by they entrance to the ravine to grab them. As they decended, torch and sword in hand. They had too late realized that the beast had already found them...

About two weeks later, a New Miner ran across the camcorder and the bones and leftover felsh of the friends and ran, startled by the sight. As he went home to watch the video on the camcorder everything clicked into his head on what happened, which is how you know this story. Nobody knows where Dravius Olimbus is currently located, but the people who live in that area are prepared. There are statues of the brave friends who faced the Dravius Olimbus in the towns square. It is a reminder to be prepared and fight no matter what the cost, because one day, you may run across a unknown species and face the same circumstances as the friends did. 

Remember, when you mine, don't go alone, and especially be extra careful when you see the orange eyes, because it may be already too late.
