This skin was a pain in the neck.

It was initially supposed to be my entry for the Nether contest, but I started working on it when the contest was almost over and it took me almost a month to complete it.

Anyway, I've been experimenting with one light source (imagine this guy standing in front of a lava pool) and the transparent pencil technique.

I'm proud of how it turned out but I can see some inconsistencies derived from the fact that lots of days passed between every time I worked on it.
