I simply adore the detailing on this skin, but I do not understand one thing about your skins - why do you shade them so darkly?

I don't believe I shade my skins too darkly. When I make skins I always base myself of documentary pictures and I try to copy it as true to reality as possible.

I understand so, but I suggest going a dark shade on certain skins in order to make their origins different. Like, giving a tan shade to the crusaders and a darker tan to the mongols.

Most certainly. I do plan on trying to break the myth that the medieval period was dominated by only 'white folks'

Well, not much was really going on in Africa during the medieval period, to my knowledge. Possibly some african tribes or that one empire I've heard of.

Hate to butt in, but there was the Fatimid (Fatamid?) Caliphate, the Moors, Al-Andalus, Mali, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, and several others (none that I can name off of my head, besides those).

I just realized that you have barely any 18th century skins. Do you not like the style of uniform from the century, or do you just find that most of them look the same?

I am currently working on a server called CrusadeCraft and am therefore currently more interested in the medieval period. The 18tht century does interest be but the skins do not offer me as much challenge as a medieval skin does.

True, the majority of 18th century type outfits/uniforms are relatively simple. The 17th century would probably be a better challenge, but as you are concentrating on the Medieval era, I shall leave it at that.

Early Modern era costumes makes me shiver, the endless amount of colours and plumes. By the time I've finished a single skin I'll be a half a year older.
