a long time ago, much longer than car, airplanes, and steam power, people had to brave the seas on boats that groaned like ghouls, smelled like fish, and was filled to the brim with rats. the journeys were difficult, but what made the trips through the promised pass to safe trading ports most dangerous was the Seagrass Strait. in that cursed ocean sailed the monstrous Captain Sargassum, with an army of Drowned that could not and would not be killed. almost nobody made out, and the few who did passed the tales from one to another until present day.
