This was my first attempt at making a map with 1.8+ default textures in mind, as opposed to my regular textures, the Conquest resource pack. I've grown a newfound appreciation for the default minecraft texture pack. In the right settings, it can be quite beautiful. If definitely brings out the greenness and vibrancy in this map, and maybe even shows the season, spring a bit better than the usual dark themed Conquest. This map was an practice to at making a world for a possible server I'll be working on soon - a Vikings Faction server. Stay tuned if you're interested. Getting this map to look good in default was quite the challenge for me since I've grown so accustomed to seeing minecraft through Conquest but I think I pulled it off. This is meant to be sort of a wild untouched terrain. It's got fallen over logs, dead trees, and ground vegetation that makes it hard to walk - and that's what i was going for. I hope you enjoy.

I want to start a new project,
VIKINGS VS PIRATES
My idea for now is,
2 Teams spawn on 2 island with some houses, they need to get money as quick as possible to upgrade houses and build other buildings to get weapons and defenses, after a certain time the pvp starts, the two teams can fight and they need to destroy a ting(don't know what yet). In the fight the teams can blow up each others buildings and get money for it.
the game takes about 2 hours, and after the fight is over the map resets and two new teams can fight!

- Boats (upgrade able)
- Random underground caves and tunnels
- Maybe a plugin instead of commandblocks....
