Trydar's Stargate Atlantis Project

ever wanted to build atlantis yourself but didn't know where to start and found the project too daunting? well, now all you have to do is fill in the spaces where the buildings go with designs of your own. have fun! =D

this is based on the rainmaker cgi model as seen in the tv show stargate atlantis. its scaled down to fit into a minecraft world, and is as accurate in shape as I can make it be. some creative license will be taken in the details, with some concessions made to the inherit limitations in minecraft. the city is about 1,000 blocks wide and long and the control tower touches the build limit.

I am still building this and most things are subject to change, especially the materials choice you see in the rendered pics. I have been working on this a lot lately and I felt it was far enough along to make everyone aware of it.

im releasing this now in a bare bones form for those of you that want to build the citys buildings yourself, but don't want to spend the rest of your life working on the substructure of the city. but, I will still be releasing a full and complete version of my own someday in the future. currently, only the interior of the gateroom is complete, and everything else is blank/hollow. its still a beast of a project to finish, but its doable with the head start ive given you.
