I decided to build my own furnace after seeing several projects of this type. The current build is the result of several hours of work.
Optional mod for rails: Traincraft (forge 1.7.10).
Updates on the extension of the plant coming soon.

Thank you for your kind words. I'll be upgrading the project soon and make the schematic available. You can check Google Earth and search for Galati, Romania to see a real steel plant in 3d. Quite the sight although 1/3 working these days.

When players say 'Im going to build a factory' it usualy ends up as a bunch of redstone farms in an underground box with cobble and dirt walls.

This is the proper way to do it, well done !

Exceptional work my friend! I love the inclusion of the Traincraft rails and rolling stock. It really brings the mill to life! And a nice use of black clay for the downcomers, works quite well as a contrast!
