St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin
The mother church of the protestant Church of Ireland, founded in 1191. It was seized from the catholic church during Henry Viii's break from Rome. The cathedral was put into ruins by Cromwell, one of many 'slights' he performed in Ireland, not least the massacre in Drogheda.
It was heavily restored by Sir Benjamin Guinness in the early 1800s and the towering spire was added.
This is an old build of mine, I forgot I had done it but it was a lot of fun and took just less than a week.
It can be viewed on the BtE Ireland server with the IP: buildtheearth.net
Happy building
