Basilica di San Marco, Venice
Also known as the "Church of Gold," The San Marco Basilica in Venice is one of the finest pieces of (Italo-)Byzantine architecture there are. Being rebuilt twice after fires, the current design dates back to around 1063. It was built to store the remains of San Marco, which were stolen from Alexandria at the time.
For me it was one of the most detailed and most high-effort buildings I've ever done and at the same time its one of the most detailed builds i know in real.
There is a small chance that I'll add the Palazzo Ducale and the rest of the square in the future.
