What is Project XAE?

Project XAE is the biggest and most ambitious Minecraft map ever planned, like an entire videogame inside of Minecraft. With the objective of not only launching an amazing videogame inside of Minecraft opening the modding and mapmaking market to the mainstream public, but also with the objective that the ‘map‘ project turns into a Real Videogame afterwards.

What’s Project XAE about?

The game itself narrates the odyssey of a Nibumbiyan agent from the Lightway Order through the planet X____, a golden planet that called the attention of all galactic power forces. Started by a mission, the agent goes through a spiritual journey towards ascension, and most essentially freedom through a deeper understanding of reality communicated by interdimensional hybrid-humanoids, the Gath’Cii.
The objective is to fix a Mothership (A Semi-Organic Spaceship) that has been broken down by the Hagma's, but they need three objects, treasures, relics of technology in order to make it go through metamorphosis. They send the agent secretly to capture these "RELICS".

Release date?

There’s no current release date, so there's no current download, but if we reach our budget with your help, we plan to release it in one year. We calculate halfway through 2024.

We have no idea about our own videogame, what we’re doing with the Minecraft project is opening a door for our future aspirations and ideas we have for the game itself. Wait for the map, it’ll be great.

That means that what we have now is proof-of-concepts like the Third Person Combat System, and a fully-made planning and script of the whole project.

Third Person Combat System:

The whole map will be played like a Souls-Borne. Imagine a Sci-Fi but with a Sekiro, Dark Souls or Bloodborne dynamic combat style IN VANILLA.
We published here a video a year ago from the present. Imagine how well it works now.
All you play is mostly gameplay, but we worked through the project as a playable movie, yet inspired from the freedom of a metroidvania. That makes the project spectacular and free at the same time.

The entire project will be easily playable in vanilla, that means that there are no mods included.

We’re currently developing a third-person camera system, since our mechanics will be inspired on Hack-and-slash and Souls-like games.

Our general focus is to make something very dynamic, very cinematic, but entirely playable, a concept found so appealing in the Half Life sequels. Basically keeping a strong script, and giving at the same time freedom for the player to go around.

For us to make this project we deeply desire independently, we have to get our funding, since the budget itself for making a project top quality, even in Minecraft has it’s own cost.
