The Kit class Patrol Boat was introduced into the Strix Strummer Navy to provide security and surveillance over distant worlds and installations where main fleet ships would not be operating. It is also equipped with a Expeditionary Truck to use on planetary surfaces and also can be used as an escape pod. It is manned by 12 crew members and is capable of sending long range signals with it's satellite dish behind the ship's bridge. Since it is a patrol boat, it is not intended for direct combat and only has a single cannon in the front.
