Wouldn't you be able to do the same thing for hostile mobs using an iron golem instead?

I've been testing your idea and it doesn't seem to work very well. It won't be very reliable because the Iron Golem do not target enemies the same as a zombie. The enemies have to attack the Golem before it targets them as enemies. It works sometimes but other times it just walks(flies) by a monster. Thanks for the suggestion anyway!
