There isn't much to talk about yet, i havent really been able to upload much recently due to several issues, expect me to become less active. As I continue to build this terrain in my spare time, i will continually talk about what i am experimenting with (even so far, there is a lot of new concepts that i've rolled into this terrain). I may borrow getoji to write a lore that i cba to think of, and am planning on possibly making a video about the plot. Stay tuned for more guys!
Experiment #1:
A lot of people have gotten into the mindset that because of a blocks' name, (i.e: log, cobblestone, etc.) that it can only be used in a setting that would make sense if the blocks were what the name dictated it be used for. Cobblestone for the base of a house or castle, logs as supports. In my build in a few places I've used blocks that were intended to be used for something completely different as naturally occuring in the wild. I have used blocks made for flooring and supports (cobblestone metadatas) as a mixture of stones; one is an igneous mix (black) and the other looks like a collection of stones, a sedimentary mix (white). I also have used unorthodox blocks for the mushrooms; up close, they are made out of materials that are meant to be walls (tudor and brick). My point is that i tried to 'question' what a block really is, and what it can be used for.
